Q2: How do I apply for a GTCrea8 e-Savers MasterCard?
A2: You do not need to apply; it is automatically issued to you when you open a GTCrea8 e-Savers account.
Q3: What is my PIN?
A3: Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a 4-digit number known only to you and is used to authenticate transactions done with your card. You can change your PIN to anyone of your choice at any GTBank ATM 4 digit number of your choice at any GTBank ATM.
Q4: How secure is my card against fraud?
A4: Your GTCrea8 e-Savers MasterCard utilizes Chip & PIN technology that provides enhanced security against unauthorized transactions.
However please do not:
Disclose your PIN to a third party.
Leave your card unattended.
Allow your card out of your sight at the point of payment.
For Internet payments, use your card only on credible websites, which can be identified by a site with a URL that starts with 'https'.

A5: You can make cash withdrawals and check/print balances. You can also make payment at Point of Sale (POS) terminals and on the Internet.
Q6: Where can my GTCrea8 e-Savers MasterCard be used?
A6: You can use your card at 32.7million merchant locations and 1.9million ATMs worldwide, wherever the "MasterCard" logo is displayed.
Q7: How do I use my card on ATMs abroad?
A7: Check that the ATM displays the MasterCard logo

If prompted to select an account, select "savings" (Please note that you may not be prompted to select an account on some ATMs. In such cases, you will be directed to continue your transaction from your default account)

Q8: Do I need to activate my card before first use?
A8: Yes, your card must be activated before first use. Simply activate your card by
changing your PIN at any GTBank ATM.
Q9: Is there any additional fee for using my GTCrea8 e-Savers MasterCard?
A9: Yes. You will be charged N100 per withdrawal from ATMs of other banks in Nigeria and N1,000 per withdrawal from ATMs of banks outside Nigeria. However, all payments done on POS in shops, hotels, restaurants etc are free issuing fee of N1,000 for your new card.
Q10: I want to make a purchase on the Internet but I do not know my 3 digit Card
Validation code (CVC2).
A10: Your CVC2 is a 3 digit number printed on the right side of the back of your card,
appearing beside the signature panel. This security number is different from your
Personal Identification Number (PIN) and can only be used for Internet purchases.
